Inverness Airport South Apron 2006
HQC were the main contractor on the new concrete apron and taxiway which was complete mid 2006 For HIAL
The works consisted of: |
| Excavation of green field areas with the airport. |
| Recycling of old runway materials for re use as Type 1 sub base. |
| Import of 5000m3 of lean mix. |
| Import of 2500m2 of PQ concrete. |
| Surfacing from base layer to wearing course layer on the taxi way and the airside part of the terminal. |
| Installation of two no 22m new lighting towers and associated base works. |
| Installation of new communication ducts and gatic drainage systems. |
| AGL airside lighting to the taxiway and apron. |
| Surface marking to the taxiway and new apron. |
